Hello everyone,
Do you love clean and simple cards? or do they intimidate you? I have a video tutorial where I am showcasing Rain or shine stamp set and talking about rules that I follow to keep my cards CAS. Also, did you check the Hndmd September month's challenge? Dont forget to participate in our challenge and win some amazing gift prizes.
There are some rules that I follow for keeping my cards Clean and Simple and have covered in the video while making these cards and also used some cool techniques.
Clean and simple card - on One corner
The first card focuses on the design at any of the one corners. Using techniques like Paper piecing and alcohol ink background for which I have used Dual texture cardstock.
Clean and simple card - One focal point
The second card is based on putting all elements together at the focal point. I have done ink blending for which I have used Dual texture cardstock and water stamping. Also, creating little elements with your hand can bring in great interest to the card.
Clean and simple card- On the edge
My last card is follows the principle of Rule of thirds and uses only one third of the area for the design. Simple White heat embossing on colored cardstock, creates a beautiful contrast and keeping things on one side, makes the card beautifully Clean and simple.
I hope you are inspired to try clean and simple cards, if you haven't made any yet, using the points I shared in the video. CAS cards may take time in the head but are quick to make especially when you want to make multiples and want to keep the card simple.
You can watch the detailed video on how I made this card by clicking below. For all the supplies used please check the description box of the you tube video.
