Hello everyone,
The plaid season is here.. and the stamps and stencils in plaid are so in now a days. I got a stencil from hndmd.in and a stamp from peek a boo designs. Both are Indian companies and I feel so good that I could combine these two products and some non traditional plaid colours for this card.
This card is for my next bench neighbour in the class, who's a passionate guitarist and vocalist. He would soon have a video released for couple of his songs. Wishing him a very Happy Birthday and Good luck for the new beginnings as a Rock Star! He also teaches me all the difficult maths we encounter in management subjects. I hope he likes it and you like it too :)

For my friend who'll formally begin a career in the music industry.
Winter wishes wrapped in Plaid
Hi Ishani, what a bright card and so beautifully stencilled. I think plaid is perfect for masculine cards since so many of men's shirts have a plaid design. The turquoise is gorgeous and provides a perfect background for that nice strong sentiment. I'm sure your neighbour will love it. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday challenge this week.
ReplyDeleteHeidi.. You just made my day. I am so glad you liked it. Thankyou so much for your kind words!

DeleteI learned how to quill many years ago, and so to come across your blog was a very nice surprise.. You do fabulous work. I've long forgotten how to do it now and have no tools to do it, but your work is a blessing to see.
ReplyDeleteAww, am so glad that you liked my work Patty. But with exposure to stamps etc, I don't give much time to quilling. It's a little time consuming! Thankyou so much for your encouragement.. you made me so happy!
DeleteLove the plaid background, great card. Thank you for joining us at TMR.

DeleteYour beautiful plaid "rock star" card is sure to be a hit with your musical friend. The stencil provided a wonderful background plaid, that looks rich and bold and the sentiment is perfect. Thanks so much for joining us at the Watercooler Wednesday challenge this week Ishani.
