New Year wishes - Lotus

Hello friends,

Wish you all a very Happy New Year, 2018! I wish that this year is better than the previous, for all of you.

I made a Lotus card with watercolours and background by the smooshing technique. It goes to my grandparents to wish them a very Happy New Year.

In Hindu spiritual contemplation, the lotus has a special place. It is not only considered pure and beautiful, but also a symbol of goodwill, peace, prosperity and happiness. It helps get rid of unpleasant things and is referred to as the king of flowers. So, Using this stamp from an Indian Company Ranganjali, was an obvious choice for me. I adore how the sentiment is written with elements from the Devanagri script (in which we write Hindi).

(I love putting sequins every time I make a card.
But I just got new Nuvo drops,
so couldn't resist using that )
