Daffodils & spring

Hello lovelies,

I had recently made a daffodil card, which one of my very dear friend liked. It also reminded her of her mother who would have been 72 if she were here and that Daffodil is birth flower of the March borns.

I had seen this very cute card of Michele for this new challenge, I had not ever participated in. So, as soon as I saw this image at Inspired by - hello spring, I knew how would I use the picture and my Daffodils from Jane's Doodles for a card. So first I did water colouring my flowers.. and the blue sky in watercolours. I know that imperfections of water colours is what makes it beautiful, but I didn't like it..so another try with distress ink blending for the bg..aah..better. Some splatter like the pros do.. aah.. even better!

Here's my card for the lovely lady whom I never met, but whose children have so much love to give. I wonder what a lovely mother she'd be to bring up children who have hearts of gold.

I hope my friend's mom, who must be seeing this from heaven, likes it. I plan to send it to my friend's father, because he would have missed her on her birthday. I hope you like it too!
