Inspired by Loll - CASE 2

Hello dear,

Welcome back! Today is the day I share the second CASE of Loll's cards. If you haven't seen my first post, I would love you to check it here.

Loll has a page dedicated to videos, it's a treasure of techniques. I loved this fun technique that I tried for my second card called, Splash watercolouring. Here's the Video that inspired me and here's the card.

I loved the white embossing shine through the splashes and tried the same with my card. The beach chair is from Bo bunny stamps - Life's a beach and I white heat embossed it. I used distress inks in Antique linen distress ink as sand and Broken china for the sea and the sky. I was a bit scared for my sand and sky to get very harsh, so I restrained my use of more layers. I realized my beach chair and parasol weren't visible enough, so I used some markers to colour the stripes of the chair and the parasol.

Inspired by Loll. Bo bunny stamps, CAS, embossresist, Quillish, Splash water colouring, cards by ishani, masculine cards, beach chair card

You must be thinking, it's nothing similar to Loll's card. In this card I have CASEd the techniques she used, that is, splash watercolouring and emboss resist. I used the sentiment priorities, to remind ourself of - relaxing! In this fast pace world, we need to relax and that must be a priority. And this masculine theme will really be useful as most of the men I know, do not have relaxing as a priority.

I hope you like my attempt of Loll's beauty. If you are inspired by these, do share your projects using #inspiredbyloll or letting Loll or me know that you tried it too.
