Inspired by Loll - CASE 3

Hello everyone,

Hope you had a good weekend. I am out enjoying a car trip to a nearest town to visit a zoo and pray at a very special Hindu temple in the west of India. Today is the day I share my CASE of one of Loll's creations. The reason is, to develop some better understanding of how colors work and learning from the specialist herself. The last two cards that I CASEd are here and here.

This week I am CASEing this beauty

I used the Ganesha stencil from an Indian brand Craftangles and Faber Castell glass bead over the sponged stencil. Though Loll had used a stencil for the background too, I didn't. I just sponged Squeezed lemonade, Festive berries and Spiced marmalade - distress inks and spritz it with water.

The sentiment says 'Shubh Labh' in Hindi. Lord Ganseha is the God of good beginnings. 'Shubh' is like praying to Lord Ganesha that whatever is auspicious, it should come to you and 'Labh' means that one should be benefited by all the Shubh that comes. So may be in simpler way,  it's for wishing some one good fortune that he benefits from. Phew.. so difficult to explain just two words!

Oh that glitter (doesn't even matter if its not gold)!!
I hope you like my take, on Loll's lovely card.
