Hello and
Happy April everyone, it's my favorite month. Me and my son have our birthdays this month! Also last year I started competing in challenges in the month of April, so it's one year of me being active on the blogging land. And because of the love and encouragement I have got here, I know it's just a beginning.
Am sharing a card I made, inspired by the Muse this week, Barb Ghig's wonderful card and the gorgeous blues of Aileen's card on LIM. Also, AAA Cards have, a favorite technique, I did something similar to what I love - emboss resist especially with white heat embossing an image - and I used ink smooshing with little improvision to get bright colors. I had learnt Emboss resist last year from AAA cards itself!
I have seen this layout earlier but Barb's card motivated me to try it and also continuing with learning a new technique.. I had seen a brushos technique by Jennifer Mc Guire using similar colors and stamp. Although I didn't have brushos I tried smooshing and applying distress inks with finger and misting with water. This gorgeous stamp is from an Indian company called Ranganjali.
Hope you like this card.
