Inspired by Loll - CASE 5

Hello crafty friends,

What have you been doing this weekend? I have been CASEing Loll Thompson and also doing some other cards. This week I am CASEing Loll's that card which she CASEd from Colleen who had CASEd Kimberly . Now, this is learning- my guru learning from others and well, I do the same.  I am so touched to see everyone giving credits to each other. How supportive and encouraging this community is!

Here's Loll's  card

This technique is called Water reactive colouring. Doesn't it look cool? I had to try this tone-on- tone look.. and I also had Distress oxide to play it with. I loved this technique! I did a little masking for the design to be on my top half of the card, then, I used Lawn Fawn's Rose gold embossing powder to emboss this beautiful stamp called Floral zen from an Indian company, Peek - a - boo designs. And did emboss resist with Candied Apple Distress oxide ink. Hand lettering for my sentiment.. and tadaa.. here's my card!

Card for her, distress oxide ink, embossresist, floral card, heat embossing, Inspired by Loll, Peek a boo designs, Quillish, Technique card, card by Ishani, Distress oxide ink card, Rose gold embossing powder, hand lettering, hand lettered sentiment, brush lettering, pentel brush pen, Mother's day card, card for mom, meri maa

For my mother.. Love you Maa, Happy Mothers' day.
Many of us Indians call our mothers, Maa. Though me and my brother say it only to save time.. Mumma becomes.. Maa! We children don't ever have time for our mothers.. shame on us .. ok.. just ME!

I hope you like my card and will try this technique soon, it's really cool! Though I have not been able to get as stunning results as my mentors, but may be you can. Do let us know if you try it.. how sweet it'll be!
