Floral card (with my prizes)

Hello everyone,

I finally received a prize sent by Ardyth Percy Robb for being one of the winners in her blog hop in February. And I got it now in May.. but hey..I got it.. yayyy. I had lost all hope that they would reach.. and now I am still dancing. So,I had to play with them.. they are so juicy.. and Ardyth sent me refills too!!

I wanted to use solid stamps because I had seen Ardyth play with Catherine Pooler inks with solid stamps and I loved how they stamped. I planned a floral arrangement inspired by Time out and Uniko challenge. The colours are quite similar and I am sure even you'll feel the elements of both these pictures in my card. The pink flower is from Hampton Arts and the rest is the lovely stamp that I adore from Uniko - Originally Organic stamp set that was a prize I won at AAA cards in Feb.

Here's a combination of die cutting, fussy cutting, dry embossing, stamping and colouring, in this card. It's also my mom's official Birthday today.. the one you put in records.. so this card is for her! Happy Birthday Mumma 😘

    2. In reply to your comment - I print from the computer onto vellum, and as the ink does not dry quickly, I then pour on the embossing powder and carefully heat. I use an antistatic pad on the vellum before printing.
