Hello everyone,
Many of you know that I love CAS style of cardmaking. I have always loved the minimalistic style and I had that style in my cards, before I stumbled upon the blogland of challenges. But, I never knew it was called CAS. I went back to last years AAA card challenge, where I asked a query.. and Jane explained to me what CAS was..and then now, CAS has become my style!
So how could I not celebrate AAA cards 4 th birthday and my first year of trying to learn CAS?

I thought of showing you, a screenshot of the comment, am glad I asked!
Have you noticed, Jane replies to every comment. So sweet right?
Anyways, coming to my card! I kept it CAS.. because it's AAA's Birthday. I used Winnie & Walter's typecast Cary numbers cutaways and a sentiment from Jane's Doodles - Cake Stamp set ...that' it! Oh yes and also those enamel dots, which are from an Indian brand called - Letz craft.
Though I wanted to put a th.. to the 4 .. I was happy with the clean look, so I skipped. Few things are understood.. right?

DeleteThis is such a fantastic card! I've never seen that technique done with the numbers before and I thought it was brilliant! This is definitely clean and pro-looking. I struggle with clean and simple, so I have nothing but total respect for artists like you who can nail it! Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous take on the card... I love the black.... And the 4 popping against looks awesome

ReplyDeleteGreat card!! I envy people who excel at the CAS card. I do it from time to time, but it’s a struggle. I always want to do more to it, add one last thing. But then it defeats the whole meaning of CAS!! Great idea to change up the color of the number you’re celebrating. Thanks for joining us for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.
