Hello everyone,
I have been too busy to craft but I thought I'll make a card or two inspired by the Muse card club where Tracey's lovely card made me think how to color kraft cardstock. My regular pencil colours were not very opaque. I also recently got perfect pearls so I thought let me use that, even CASology has pearls as a cue.
I was intimidated by the kraft base of Tracey's card, but then the perfect pearls looked so pretty when I tried on a scrap kraft piece, I decided to do it. This card is my second attempt as earlier I used smaller flowers but the look wasn't as pretty. So I took out this gorgeous Lily stamp by Uniko and embossed it in white and used perfect pearls to fill in the petals.

The pictures don't do the justice to the sheen. I hope you like my attempt!

Beautifully coloured Ishani! I really like the white on kraft. Thank you so much for sharing with us at Muse this week!
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty Ishani! Love how the white looks on the coloured card base. Such a great idea to heat emboss a line stamp and paint with perfect pearls. Have not tried doing that. It's a beautiful card! xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card. We are truly blessed that you joined our Challenge earlier this month at Word Art Wednesday. There's still time to join our current Challenge and we'd love to see back. Leaving you with the inspiration of God's Word found in Isaiah 43:10 which says, “You are my witnesses,” declares the LORD, “and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me." Have a great day!
