Cross stitched rose

Hello friends,

The MFT summer school 2018, was very inspiring, but I couldn't join in as much as I'd like. But carrying the lessons along I made a Birthday card, doing something I dread, One Layer Card. I want to improve and running away isn't a way, right? So I tried to give in all the attention required for this tricky piece.

One layer card, CAS card, waffle flower, Craftangles, Birthday card, Card for her, quillish, cards by Ishani, waffle flower stitched rose stamp card, cross stitch stamp, cross stitch card, birthday card for girl friend, birthday card for mom, cross stitch lover

The cross stitch stamps are indeed very tricky and take in a lot of concentration. But they are a blessing for people who are not much into needle craft. I used Waffle Flower's Stitched rose and had seen their video when I had got this stamp, on how to use it. After 2 attempts.. of cross stitch overlapping, this is the third attempt and I was happy! I used complimentary colours for this card. Shades of Olive and Orange.. (My geography lessons remind me of Spain)! The sentiment is "Happy day" from Indian brand - CrafTangles from hndmd. It was a tough decision but then I .. didn't put any sequins or drops.. no.. none!

Hope you like it!
