Hello there,
We in India celebrate Friendship day on the first Sunday of August. I am not sure if it's celebrated across the globe. I made this card to bring back the memory of those lovely days when friends were the reason I went to school. They are still the sunshine of my life!
I had seen around six months back, a card by Michele Ferguson and I fell in love with the stamp set she showcased. This is her card. So, as a treat on my birthday I indulged in some stamp goodness from Ellen Hutson and got it delivered to a friend in the US. She recently bought my stuff and now I am playing with them. These kids and the school bus came from the US and became Indian :P
This card gets so many memories back, I almost got teary when I looked at it after I finished. My school days were just few years ago.. oh no.. more than a decade and a half back!
Happy friendship day to you all. To get the love from the crafty friends - is so special. I am glad to be a part of this friendly, kind and loving family, family without borders.
I hope you like my card.
Because friends are the family we choose for ourselves!
