Hello everyone,
This card is for my love of baking.. from learning from my mom to watching Nigella Lawson and Rachel Allen, bake! These ladies made me want to bake just to get my house smell of baking!
Also, Francine Vuilleme - I love her work, her cards are just so inspiring. This design of the table cloth at the edge, I first saw in her card and now I see that it's a trend!
I also have a very special person, a lady who loved me like her daughter. She is my first boss's wife and the day she'd bake a cake, I have no clue how, but I'd land up to relish it. I loved her banana cakes (with walnuts) and that's why I had to put the bananas on this card. She's amazing!
I hope you like my card.

(Comfort is tea and cake, a home smelling of freshly baked cinnamon rolls. Ask the mother who bakes to see the kids relish - that's Comfort too!)
This is one tasty looking card! Thanks for joining in the fun at the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week. Tristan DT

ReplyDeleteThe layering in this is amazing Ishani. I do love how you did the table cloth all such pretty colours. A room full of the smell of freash baked bread is a real comfort. Thanks for joining Inks with this amazing card x
ReplyDeleteA lovely fun card, Ishani! It's the perfect choice for that 'cook' we all know and appreciate! Thanks so much for joining us at Watercooler Wednesday this week!
ReplyDeleteLove this design - yes, yes, yes to that tablecloth! I just hooked up a baking card too. Mine doesn't have a nice "real" story behind it though, just a TV show. But Enie (the baker) is loveable too ;)
ReplyDeleteIshani, this is so wonderful card. Your take on Francine's card (CASEing) is so original. I remember this card of her and saw many CASEings, but yours is different. I love the floral pattern on your table cloth, it made a big difference. Thank you so much for sharing your card with us at AAA Cards Challenge. - Sweet Kobylkin
