New year wishes

Hello again,

With New year approaching and I have to send few cards I thought of playing at few challenges and using the new dies I got from an Indian craft company's sale. This is a Recollections die too and the photo inspiration at Inkspirational made me itch to use it.

I die cut the feather from the front panel of a black cardstock and adhered a gold mirror paper in the negative. Then I embossed the dots from another new embossing folder I got on the die cut feather. I mounted the embossed feather on a die cut black foam, stuck it on the panel and heat embossed my sentiment in gold. This sentiment is a gift from my dear friend Rahmat from Cards and cooking corner and I am so grateful that she sent this because I didn't have a New Year wishes stamp.

Hope you like it and wishing you a very Happy 2019 :)

  7. Simply beautiful, Ishani! I love the gold foil in the negative space where you cut out the feather. Mounting the embossed, die-cut feather to the side of it is so very effective and elegant. Thanks so much for joining our two-week year-end Watercooler Wednesday Challenge.
