Hello everyone,
I wanted to use my new stencil, Uniko's Pure florals stencil - chrysanthemum and try a new technique for this card. I usually don't make an envelope along with the card but because this card was a square and I had no envelope in this size I thought I'll make one.

I wanted to use my new stencil, Uniko's Pure florals stencil - chrysanthemum and try a new technique for this card. I usually don't make an envelope along with the card but because this card was a square and I had no envelope in this size I thought I'll make one.
I sponged Picked raspberry Distress ink through the stencil at the places which are deeper in a flower and then I sponged the glass bead gel over the whole stencil. Have you tried sponging it, rather using the palette knife? I saw the video linked at CAS stencil challenge and thought I'll try that. I used a palette knife to put it on my dauber and sponged it. You know the best thing? You don't put as much as you would through a palette knife, it actually saves a lot of the expensive paste, if sponged (yay).
The photos don't do justice with the beauty of the glass bead gel. I also sponged versamark ink through the stencil on the flap of the envelope, to dress up my envelope which I made without an envelope punch, watching this video.
I hope you like my card.
