Super bear

Hello everyone,

It's my baby brother's birthday today, though not a baby anymore, but my baby brother, always. I made a card with my recent Studio Katia possessions that I won at Kaja's giveaway on Instagram.

My brother is in the Indian Army and they are the most selfless and patriotic men of our country,  nothing less than a Superman. Our country has been facing terrorism and beacause these young boys of our Armed forces, are their guarding our borders, we can sleep peacefully.

Because they are our heroes, hence this card.  My brother has always been my hero but with his uniform on, he's a bit more! I have shared a picture of his here, you will see it if you swipe.

I used Studio Katia's, Kobi the super bear stamp set, colored it with Copic markers and fussy cut it.  The front card panel has sponged Sunrays and a grey skyline die cut. I made my side folded card get some interest by stamping with versamark, the words Poof and Boom.

Copic markers, Superhero card, superboy card, Cards by Ishani , Studio Katia's - Kobi the super bear, kobi the bear stamps, Birthday card, masculine birthday card, masculine card, stenciling, Quillish

I had checked superman's cape for coloring (here) it and then it struck me as 'Retro'. I knew I need to get some more Retro look, and all the comics majorily had was Red, blue and yellow. So used grey, as dull buildings behind and used the explosion thing in yellow and rays in yellow too. I hope it reminds you of the Marvel comics .

  8. Super duper cute card. So blessed that you joined our Challenge at Word Art Wednesday and would like to invite you again to link with us at the new challenge that started today. Leaving you with God's Word in 1 John 2:15-17 which says, "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions—is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever." Have a blessed and wonderful week.
