We in India have had sleepless nights with tension building up between the neighbours. I have not had the mood for crafting, we were too tensed. Last night there were better news and we breathed a sigh of relief. That's when I thought I have to make a card to dedicate to the soldiers. I have lived my whole life with brave hearts and they have exceptional superpowers, we even witnessed some recently.
The sketch at Create a Smile was perfect for what I could use. This is mostly a One Layer card, except the matting. To create the movement effect, I stamped my image (with a some masking) from left to right in Memento Tuxedo black, Memento Gray flannel and second generation stamping of the gray flannel. Colored them with my alcohol markers. Masked the moving mice and sponged the Citron green Distress ink for the grass. Some cloud stenciling and finally the sentiment.
Hope you like it.
Praying for peace and love all over the world.

So glad everything was sorted out with your neighbours, nothing worse than being stuck in the middle with no control!! I think your card is incredible and your masking skills are superb. Love the idea of having the 'moving' mouse get darker with colour, makes total sense and the scene is fabulous. Always wonderful to see you at TIME OUT!
