Hello everyone!
For this card I printed the Daffodil twice, once on yellow cardstock and the other on green cardstock. I colored some shadows with my pencil colors and then fussy cut the green leaves an yellow flower and adhered it over a panel that I had stenciled with as stencil similar to Make marks - 5.

Wishing you a lovely day. Stay safe and healthy and keep crafting.

I am so glad to be back at STAMPlorations blog to be show casing their Digital stamps to you for the Digital Wednesday feature. I am featuring the beautiful floral digital stamps called Heartfelt rose and Sketched flowers . I have two cards with No line coloring ideas and I also have a You tube tutorial for the detailed process of how I printed them for no line coloring effect without using any cool photoshop apps/programmes. Also, I am using all three mediums to color, Copic, Pencil colors and watercolors for my 3 cards!!
No - line Coloring Cards
No line Copic colored floral Card
For my first card I chose the Heartfelt rose digi and resized it to be a big bold flower to cover 1/2 of my front panel. I love big bold floral stamps but what I love about digital stamp the most is that you can resize it to the proportions you want!
I printed my Heartfelt rose on 110 lbs Neenah Solar white paper and then I colored with Copics and Color pencils. I cut it along the edge and adhered on my red side folding card panel with a white base with foam tape, stamped the sentiment and added few sequins. You can check this card being made on my You tube channel too.
No line Watercolored floral card
For this card I have used Sketched flowers set of Digital stamps and used sketched sunflower image for this card. If you have seen my tutorial you would know how I arranged the sunflowers for this almost, one layer, no-line water colored card
I printed them on a water color paper and used Zig markers for coloring my sunflowers and added some shading with pencil colors. I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set Country rustic stamp set.
Daffodil with paper piecing
I hope you are not like me, sometimes, lazy to color! But if you are, here's a cheat way to color, which you already know - Paper piecing. I have used sketched Daffodil from the Sketched flowers set of Digital stamps for this card and did paper piecing with plain yellow and green paper.
For this card I printed the Daffodil twice, once on yellow cardstock and the other on green cardstock. I colored some shadows with my pencil colors and then fussy cut the green leaves an yellow flower and adhered it over a panel that I had stenciled with as stencil similar to Make marks - 5.
I stamped on my front panel, a sentiment from the stamp set Country rustic stamp set and adhered my panel on a top folding A2 sized note card.
Hope you enjoyed the ideas and would try them yourself. If you would like to see more details of how I made the rose card then please visit my You tube channel and watch the video.

Your pencil coloring is amazing! I tried pencils again the other day, and, well, at least I'm trying.....yours is gorgeous. I love the Daffodil.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous designs! Beautiful coloring and paper piecing on the images! The sunflower card is a favorite! I am really missing the sunflowers we plant in our yard each year, and we skipped planting them this year....
ReplyDeleteYour floral cards are stunning!
ReplyDeleteI will definitely try printing a digi for no line
coloring, using the tips you showed in
the video. I never thought of printing
Digis on colored paper. Thanks for sharing
your techniques!
I've always loved no line coloring and these are all so pretty! I really love the daffodil and the stenciled BG.
ReplyDeleteAwesome cards Ishani. Just loved how you played with the digital stamps. Watched your video too, thanks for all the lovely tips you always share. More power to you 😊
ReplyDeleteBeautiful no line coloring. I just love the way you have done these designs. I always struggle with no line somewhat but I am gradually getting a little better.

Absolutely stunning cards Ishani! Gorgeous coloring and I love the pop of rich color of your focal points.
ReplyDeleteThese cards beautiful, your no-line coloring looks awesome! Thanks for sharing these beauties with us at Die Cut Divas. (Unfortunately they are eligible for challenge prize, since there were no die cut/embossing folder used).
ReplyDeleteLovely cards and great tutorial on re-sizing images. So glad you joined us for our “All About the Flowers” August challenge at Die Cut Divas https://die-cut-divas.blogspot.com/, however, I do not see that you used any die-cutting or dry-embossing with a die-cut machine.
ReplyDeleteHow gorgeous are your colours on all three cards. And your no line work is fabulous. Thanks for playing at Uniko, hope to see you join in with future challenges too. Stay safe and keep crafting!
ReplyDeleteThree very striking cards, the no line technique works well with these bold blooms.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining in at Uniko. :)
Hey, Ishani 🙋 Superb cards with no line colouring techniques... With this technique you have the flexibility to create beautiful detail and texture without feeling too restricted by the outline.
ReplyDeleteWhat a brilliant post. I love the idea of no line colouring with digis - I love the look.
