Video Hop + Giveaway - Alcohol Ink colored Rose - Altenew

Hello dear crafters!

I am Ishani and I am the thrilled to be joining amazing artists of Altenew for a video hop that begins here. I am so glad to be invited as a guest for introducing you to the September release. Watch my video tutorial for today's card here. 

Did you check them all out? If not, you can have a look HERE. I loved the release and for my projects I tried to combine stamps and embossing folders, as I love a little texture with my clean and simple designs. Here is a look at what I had made earlier this week.

BIRD ON WALNUT TREE

For my first card, I am using the cutest bird ever set - Bird of the woods stamp and used Sea shore mini cube inks and Summer afternoon mini cube inks for stamping the bird. I colored my tree branch with Copics and die cut them both with their matching dies .

I embossed the cool Walnut branch 3 D embossing folder on a white cardstock and stamped Thank you from the same stamp set and mounted on a brown cardbase.

CAS FLORAL THANKS 

I love using colored cardstocks. IMO an embossing folder on a colored cardstocks gives a great look! I love layering stamps and used Floral thanks sentiment stamp set and stamped my flowers with Frosty Pink, Coral Berry and Buttercream inks for the leaves I used Green valley mini inks set. I die cut thanks from the co- ordianting die set and stamped the outline of thanks sentiment from the Floral thanks sentiment stamp set.

For the cardbase I used a dark blue cardstock and embossed it using Geo 3D embossing folder and foam mounted the floral arrangement on the blue cardstock and the whole panel over a white cardbase.

A CUP OF ROSES 

Rose Tea stamp set has to be my favourite of today's release 😍(sshhhh.. I may have a video for cards using this same set - soon).The illustrations are mind blowing and the sentiments, are some of my most used and oh.. how I love that font! Though for my first card I have not used the sentiment from the Rose Tea stamp set.

For my card I stamped this gorgeous cup of roses on to Neenah Classic crest 110 lbs paper, colored the beautiful floral arrangement with Copic markers and die cut it with the coordinating dies. I used the sentiment from the Floral thanks sentiment stamp set and adhered them all on a cardbase that i had diecut using one of my favourite Cover plate die Dotted scales debossing cover plate.

WATERCOLORED ROSE

I couldn't stop at just one card with the gorgeous Rose Tea stamp set and wanted to use the stunning Rose for a Clean and simple card and most importantly use the beautiful font of this stamp set. I stamped the beautiful rose and the leave on watercolor paper and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder. I colored it with watercolors and die cut them with their coordinating dies. 

I heat embossed the sentiment in gold on a slightly smaller white card base and adhered my leaves and rose with glue and mounted them all on a pink cardbase with foam tape.

ALCOHOL INK COLORED ROSE + VIDEO

I used the same stamp -  Rose Tea stamp set but colored with alcohol markers. You can use Artist markers in Green field and in Rose Petal for the same look.  I used a dark blue cardstock and embossed it using Geo 3D embossing folder to mount my colored rose paper on. The sentiment is from Vintage Roses stamp set.
