Altenew Paint-A-Flower: Rosa Floribunda Outline Stamp Set Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($200 in Total Prizes)

Hello everyone and Welcome!

I am Ishani and I am so honoured and happy to have been a Guest at Altenew for the releases of September and October. I love roses and this bunch of Paint-A-Flower: Rosa Floribunda are gorgeous. One thing I learnt after being invited as Guest Designer is to google and read about the flower. Reading and looking at the flower and the various colors they come in gives you a great perspective. As I was reading about them, I came to know that they are climbers and that made me think of putting the 3 flowers of the stamp, side by side.

For my card I chose to use alcohol markers for coloring my roses! Have you checked my other Rose cards? Check out this video, if you haven't. Are you crazy for fonts? I am in love with the fonts of the Paint a flower series of stamps. They are so classy and combined with block letters, they give the handlettered feel! I chose to make this card for my beautiful Aunt.

I used colors similar to Artist Alcohol Markers Shades of Purple Set to color my flowers and then cut them out to arrange them differently. I love to cut the stamped images esp of flowers to make the give the images a different look. To add some extra leaves I chose to die cut some leaves from the Flowing Foliage die set  and arranged them behind my Roses.
