Hello everyone,
You may use any of the words in this wonderful quote.
Altenew are our kind sponsor and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher!
This card is dedicated to my dear friend also a crafter - Pooja from Cards and Coloring. Many of you may remember her from her blog (no longer used) Reusing with Quilling. She is the reason I know Altenew and fell in love with the brand! She has been so instrumental in my learning to use florals on my cards and the quote reminded me of her. Without this sweet girl I wouldn't have mustered courage to watercolor and basically go out of my comfort zone. If I had a flower for every time I think want to THANK YOU POOJA, I could walk through my garden forever.
Have you noticed the Altenew Watercolors 24 Pan set has the Charmed flowers on the case?
With inspiration around, I went to the Altenew's January Inspirtation Challenge to get colors for my card.
It was meant to be my first card using these watercolors :D I am not a splatter person... or was not.. till now! But when you are learning watching Therese and Erum, you have to do what your teachers show you! Don't you agree?? And I think with the black sentiment strip the black splatters bring everything together.
We have the very talented Nancy Leppek of Scrapper at Heart as our guest this time. Don't forget to stop by at her blog to see the beautiful card she has for our challenge and join us with your take!
Thank you for stopping by :)
I have a new video on my You tube channel, if you'd like to see my ideas for organizing paper scraps.
Ishani this is exquisite - love your painting of the flowers and that total 'look' of the card.
