Hello friends,
It's CRAFTY MERAKI's second Anniversary!! And we have a lot of inspiration and giveaways to celebrate #merakiversary. I am sure you are amazed by the stunning dies and the beautiful gems. Today I am here to inspire you to check out the latest release and showcase the Madison Flora para- dies.
I planned to create a floral garden with these pretty flowers.
I die cut my flowers and leaves from a white cardstock and blended inks to my flowers using selective masking technique. I left some white areas on the flower as to me these flowers are quite like Pansies and I wanted to add dimension under the white petals to make them look like the lightest layer of my flower.
To add some bling to the centre of the flower, I added Meraki Sparkle Fairy Garden. The leaves were similarly die cut and blended two green inks.
For the background of my Pansy garden I used Plaid A2 background die. This has become my most used background die! You can add less pressure while cutting it, so all the pieces are intact and it gives and embossed look. Because these bits are very tiny and I don't want to mess up by using glue, I take a double sided sticky sheet to adhere my diecut black panel on a white top folded cardstock. I adhere some small foam tape underneath the white portions of my flowers, and the rest of the flowers and leaves with glue, so there is a pop of the white petals.
For the sentiment I used a sentiment from Elegance stamp set, that was white heat embossed on a black cardstock.
I hope you like this striking card with these beautiful flowers. Check out other Merakiversary release of beautiful embellishments and dies at Crafty Meraki store! Ishani this is a beautiful 'garden'. Loving the fact that you used the black textured background and your flowers are so gorgeously coloured and assembled. Stunning work.
