DIY gifts for Teachers

Hello sweet friends,

Happy Tuesday! On tuesdays, I share inspiration on Crafty Meraki blog and with many of our kids graduating and going to the next class, I planned to make keepsake for the lovely teachers. And gosh I am in love with  Work of heart stamp set, it is just adorable and am sure will be used till my kid is out of college :D

I used two big tag dies from Congrats slimline tag die and Love slimline tag die and cut them out from a white and pink/lilac cardstock. I like to add an extra layer which is the colored diecut to write a message.

I stamped and colored the lady teacher and the cute girl, a pair for each bookmark. I stamped the little stamps in the stamp set in colored ink  matching the color of my teachers' dress

 

 The blackboard was stamped and white heat embossed and I added some white pigment ink to mimic the chalk effect. I also added some ABC with white gel pen. I used a black ribbon to secure both the tags together and used hot glue on the ribbon so it doesn't move.
