Hello dear friends,
I am up on Crafty Meraki blog with a Pastel-y inspiration for your gift tags for the upcoming Holidays using the gorgeous Season's greetings mini slimline die and Christmas flower layering dies from the #merakicraftober release .
I die cut white card stock with Christmas flower layering dies and chose Distress oxides (DO) in Saltwater Taffy and Abandoned Coral a for the floral petals, blending the darker in the inner corner and going lighter at the tips of the petals. Then I splattered some diluted Barn Door DO ink on the petals. I die cut stamen of the Christmas flower layering dies with the gold glitter cardstock. And used DO inks in Cracked Pistachio and Moved lawn only at the inner edges.
I cut the tag from the Season's greetings mini slimline die and chose Seasons greetings and die cut them too. Then with the same Distress oxides - Saltwater Taffy and Abandoned Coral I did inkblending on the die cut words for an Ombre' look.
On the tag that was die cut I chose to stamp the Poinsettia flower arrangement from the Christmas Miracle stamp set with Saltwater Taffy DO. Then with glue I adhered the Die cut words and the flowers and finished off with a glittery bronze ribbon.
I hope you are inspired to use some pastels for your Holiday projects.
