Can you spot these sweet mini stamps that I used for my cards? Travel Boots stamp set and Bold Heels stamp set. I decided to use them and replace letters of my words.
One of my Favourite techniques to do with Alpha dies is to give them shadow and pop them up on Foam tape. Few of the words that you can die cut in similar technique for making generic cards is Hi, Hello, Sir, Ma'am, You, love and combine with small sentiments stamped with them on a strip.
BOLD HEELS FOR MAM - CARD
This was the original card that I planned to make for this hop. The next card is inspired by this to be used for my Father, an Army veteran - for his 70th Birthday. For this card I used Alcohol markers to color Bold Heels stamp set and fussy cut it.
I die cut 2 Ms from Caps bold alphabet die set with white cardstock and maroon cardstock. Then I ran the white Ms through Charming Mandala 3 D Embossing folder, adhered them on Maroon cardstock leaving a bit on the left to create a shadow.
I used Mix and Match frame dies to die cut a frame from a white cardstock. Foam mounted the Ms and the heels and for the sentiment used a stamp from Rosa Floribunda stamp set that has lovely sentiments for Aunts and Nieces that I stamped and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
ARMY BOOTS FOR DAD
The technique is the same as the previous card. I die cut 2 Ds from Caps bold alphabet die set with green cardstock and beige cardstock. Then I ran the green Ds through Connected 3 D Embossing folder, adhered them on beige cardstock leaving a bit on the left to create a shadow.
I kept the card base green and beige too and stamped Happy birthday as it is for my father's birthday.Giveaway Prizes
