Make your own Personalized card with Simple masking

Hello sweet friends,

Today I have a sweet Personalized card where I am combining numerous techniques for a card to thank my son's class teacher. His Exams are over and they go to next class in April. I am using Eclipse die cutting technique to write the word Ma'am and using an image to replace one of the letters. And tweaking my stamped image for making it look like my son's teacher, for which I will be using  Work of heart stamp set. I have earlier too, used the same stamp for a different look, that you can check here.

First, for my sweet teacher I stamped the girl after using washi tape to cover her blunt cut ends, inked it, removed the washi tape and stamped it. Then with a black Copic friendly pen I made a plait for her. Colored her up made the legs look like she is wearing a legging by marking small curves just at the ankles. I have a tutorial where I changed the look of the stamp that you can watch here.

With my teacher ready, I them took the small stamps from the stamp set to make a background by Repetitive stamping the images. Then I took Alphabet dies - and Die cut out the word MAAM in a way that one A will be replaced by my teacher's image. After die cutting, I colored the die cut letters and left the rest of the background without coloring.

I  adhered the small stamps stamped panel on a maroon cardbase with glue and mounted MA + the fussy cut image + M on foam tape and adhered. I stamped thank you from the same stamp set on a maroon card piece and stamped in Versamark and heat embossed in white. I foam mounted thank you just above the word Ma'am.

Here is my son's teacher - Do you think I did a decent job, making our stamped girl - look like her? :D
I hope you are inspired to use your images and replace letters from the Alphabet or word dies and also cahnge the look of the stamp to make it look similar to the person you plan to give it to. There  are many adorable Kids and adult stamps that you can mask and make them look different.
