Hello everyone,
I am so delighted and honoured to be a guest at The Flower challenge for this month! The association with Flower challenge goes back to the days when I just started my blog and was doing Quilled cards. I had no clue about how to link cards or if my card is even allowed as I had no stamps or dies on mine. If you go to the Challenge Rules tab of the flower challenge, you will find my question of 2017, answered by sweet Vivien. The same time, Aileen replied to me through email and after a string of mails I understood how to link at challenges and that my quilled cards were welcome! So you know how instrumental they have been in my little journey :)
To be invited as Guest, at this special challenge is a dream come true for me (misty eyes) and I thank dear Design team for the kind invitation!
The challenge for this month is Focus on Background Stamping! And for my card I used one of my favourite ways to make a background - layering stamps. I used Altenew's Life is awesome stamp set (which is now retired) for my floral clusters in pretty Spring colors on two corners of the card.
I really love to use a stamping platform and make most out of arranging my stamps by stamping it twice. Once at one corner and then rotating the paper for another impression. It also is a quicker way to get stamping done. Then I die cut my stamped floral panel with Altenew's Mix and Match frame dies.
For the foreground I chose a bold sentiment by Crafty Meraki - Happy Birthday Shadow word die - hwich I cut through a white cardstock and then a gold shimmer cardstock and adhered with glue. To jazz up my card I chose to use the beautiful Sparkles by Crafty Meraki - Prismatic purple. ( If you have not heard of the company Crafty Meraki - you may have a look at the amazing stamps, dies and embellishments by this awesome company. There are always amazing discounts running, but if not - you can use ISHANI10 for a 10% discount at the online store)
I hope you like my card and will join us at the challenge. Thanking the sweet and talented Design team at The flower challenge again, for having me as their guest. If you would like to see more of my work, you could follow me on Instagram at quill_ish where I share more ideas with Crafty Meraki products.
Have a lovely crafty week ahead :)

I saw this on IG Ishani, and I thought it was amazing then, to see it 'closer up' it is even better. An exquisite card, and so beautifully stamped.. Love it Blessings Maxine
