Altenew 9th Anniversary Blog Hop Day 3 + Giveaway (over $2,200 in Total Prizes)

I am so honoured and excited to be joining the celebration blog hop at Altenew for their 9th Anniversary. I know you love Altenew as much as I do. From the designs to the amazing products and their quality to the most amazing customer service ever! Altenew checks all the points and in my eyes is a leader in the Crafting industry. Altenew is the reason I started making floral cards. I have learnt a lot of coloring and paper crafting techniques over the years because of their talented designers and now enjoy coloring florals stamps and experimenting with dies/stencils and embossing folders by Altenew.

This is day 3 of the hop with the amazing Card Design team and other many great designers on this blog hop as well as some amazing giveaway. For my card today I wanted to wish Big Congrats to Altenew and I went with my favourite supplies - the dies and embossing folders and have a card with no stamping involved. This has been the best thing about Altenew, it caters to the requirements of all level of crafters, from beginners to advance.

I love the Delicate Dragonflies die set, it also has hot foil plates and I can imagine how pretty foiling will look on these dragonflies. Because I don't have a Hot foil plate, so for a similar effect, I used Brushed Silver Metallic cardstock for the outer border of the dragonfly. Then I added some Mod podge over the delicate die cuts and added some glitter on their wings. The inner wings were made using Alcohol inks. I used shades like Deep Iris, Lavender fields and Deep lagoon. You can also use the Alcohol ink background paper for a similar result. For the body  I used some Ultramarine and Deep Iris ink and with finger added the ink over the body and used two little beads to add the eyes.

I cut a light kraft cardstock and dry embossed the gorgeous floral cluster from Craft your life kit - Delicate Garden, which I adhered on an A2 top folded Purple cardstock. For the sentiment I have used Signature Word die set, that I cut from the same alcohol ink background that I used for the wings.
