Hello everyone,
I am here to invite you to join us at Time out challenges- for a Theme challenge. We want you to be inspired by the word - Sportive. I think it's a perfect theme for getting your Father's Day cards made or may be some summer time outdoorsy activities.
This word can be interpreted from zeroing in on a particular sport of any kind, to something lively and full of fun! Maybe even a super fun technique that makes you feel playful! We can't wait to see what aspect of "sportive" inspires you the most!
We are generously sponsored by Newton's Nook Designs with a $25 Store Credit for the winner, and an offer to Guest Design with The Time Out Design Team for a future challenge.
With Summers in the Northern Hemisphere - it's perfect time to be out and enjoy the warmth of the sun and have some fun times with friends. I chose to make a card that my son could give to his best friend.
I have this adorable stamp set by Crafty Meraki - It's playtime stamp set and it's coordianting dies make it so easy to cut this beautiful play station with slide and swing.
I don't remember whose card was it - but I saw someone use Cloud stencil for making hedges or shrubs and I thought it was so cool. So I did the same for my park setting. Colored my cute boys and few critters from the set with Copics.
We have the sweet and talented Carol McFarland of Saw it. Had to Make It. as our Guest for the challenge.
Hope you like my take on the challenge and will join us with your renditions.

Ishani... just wonderful fun!
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful"sportive" scene, Ishani. Well done!
ReplyDeleteLove your best friends hanging out in the park - on the kind of play station that didn't require electricity and meant hours in front of the telly! Great stenciled clouds!!! Hugs, Kate
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to use the cloud stencil for shrubs, Ishani. Your little scene is to cute and those boys are having a fun time. It reminds me of my youngest great grandsons. They love playing on a slide.
