AECP - All about layering 3

Hello, hello...

If you have seen my previous posts, you know that I have started the AECP program and am here to share another Homework with you for the amazing class by Lydia Evans All about layering 3 which is also a free class that you can take without joining AECP program. Layering has not been very difficult for me mostly because I have been using stamp positioner. But after learning her tricks, I really got confident about using acrylic block and have actually been stamping recently without any problem. I think unless I need more than one image of a layered flower, I will easily use acrylic block now.

This card incorporates the design elements from Lesson 1 and 5 and some lessons on the layout that she covers in other lessons, where she encourages you to cut your floral arrangement, to make it your own.

I chose a stamp set I recently bought - for all the reasons that you will find funny. I was eyeing a Craft Your Life Kit Dynamic Blossoms but it was too expensive for my hobby expenses, so when BAF - Giant Bellflower Layering Stamp & Die Set went on a huge sale - hehehe.. I got it. Tell me I did good.

I chose the mini ink cubes in Shades of Purple  and Cherry Blossom for the flowers and Green Meadows (two lightest inks) for my stems and leaves. I stamped and die cut them with the coordinating die and for the sentiment I chose a Hello die from the CAF - Primrose Blossom dies. For the white on white background - that I loved on Lydia's card I chose the lovely Moroccan Lattice cover die.
