Hello and thank you for stopping by!
Continuing with my AECP, here is my home work for the Class of Easy Diecutting techniques. And with amazing techniques taught I was in a mood to do my Homework based on the holiday cardmaking (Lesson 6 ) and after some brainstorming I thought of including lessons taught in Negative die cutting (lesson 3) Embossing with dies (lesson 4) and Inlaid die cutting (lesson 5). So although this card is The Cleanest Card ever - I have included my learnings from 4 classes in this and may also have had the previous influence of Jen Rzasa's class.
For this card I chose the gorgeous dies from the Altenew's Lovely Ornaments dies and on a Teal colored cardstock (Emerald from Gradient cardstock Sea Shore) I embossed the ornament with a Rubber Mat and die cut the die from Silver cardstock (Sterling Glitter cardstock).
The raised embossed leaves looked lovely and then when I added the Negative - the Ornament over it, the dry embossed areas looked lovely popping up from the silver borders. Stamped a sentiment with Silver embossing powder and the Silver that Yana used in most of her cards comes in the form of Metallic thread on my card.
I hope you like my submission. Thank you and please have a look at my other work on the blog and join me on Instagram.
