AECP 2 - Beautiful Details - Reflection on the water

Hello my dear friends,

I finished and passed my Altenew Educator Level 1 program (my final assignment) and I start with Level 2 and here is my first submission for the first class I took by someone who made me fall in love with Altenew - way back in 2017 - Marika Rahtu. Here is my attempt to showcase what I learnt from Beautiful Details class by her. Even if you are not interested in doing the AECP course, if you are someone who loves to color and want to try different media. Get THIS class.

In her Lesson 6 - She shares with us her favourite medium of coloring and I must admit - the Magnolia's and Wild Hibiscus cards were what made me want to do floral cards. For this card I chose Stunning Sakura stamp set and stamped it with a light ink. Then I used some markers from the Sunshine Valley Garden set in Pinks, Greens and Yellows to add a light layer and then add the BEAUTIFUL DETAILS with Woodless Color Pencils.

Just like her lesson I tried to look for a stamp with a branch that could be just above the water surface and it's reflection falling on the water below. May be after some more trials I will be as close as her. I chose a scripty sentiment that looked as if in water and moving. For the background I chose Dotted scale debossing cover die  for the background and Ink blended an ombre Blue on it.

I have used the colors of this Month's Altenew Inspiration challenge
