AECP 2 - Creative Watercolor Media - Hello Beautiful

Hello my dear friends,

We Hindus are celebrating Holi today! Happy Holi and today I am sharing something that is symbolic of this festival, Spring, colors and all things beautiful. Continuing my journey to learn more and be an educator with Altenew's Educator Certification Program,  I am sharing an assignment from the Class that was most delightful in terms of techniques and I really could not decide which Lesson to use as inspiration. I am talking about the Creative Watercolor Media class.

I recently got some Sprays, so I was quite eager to do a homework based on Debby Hughes' Lesson. But I also have been using my Altenew re inkers, only to reink, so I thought - let me use them for coloring and am submitting my homework, inspired by Laura Bassen's class.

I loved the way she made two cards from one panel and I did a bit variation with the cardstock that I used as the main panel. I don't know if it's true for you, but I have been using my Craft Your project kits - in a way that, 2 or more of the supplies - stamp or die, stamp or embossing folder, or stamp and stencil, they are used together. I have not used the stamp set alone. Like I don't want the family to not be alone. So I took out the Hello Beautiful Craft Your life kit and got all the flowers on my stamping platform, stamped with versamark and heat embossed them with white embossing powder.
Tip : A tip I want to share, because I didn't do it - but realized that it would make my project better is - Don't remove the stamps from the stamping platform till your coloring is done, that ways, a fresh coat of White embossing powder will make the project loo much more sharp.

I used Reinkers (they are on an offer RIGHT NOW, check below) in some of my favorite colors, Coral Berry, Pinkalicious, Warm Sunshine, Sunkissed,  Lavender fields Lagoon, Just green,  and industrial diamond (for the centers). I spritzed with Altenew Mister and added my colors - let them flow into each other. When I had a big panel ready I chopped it two - and made these cards.

The cardstock I chose is not this coral-ly, it is called Rose and is from an Indian brand, the photo has made it a bit coral-ly, I like it in the pictures too and in real with the Red- magenta= Rose color too. The Sentiment is diecut from the same color that was chosen as the cardbase and cut from CAF Water lily die set's - Beautiful.

For the Second card, as I had a bit of more lagoon showing in this panel I chose a Peacock Blue cardstock and used it for my panel and the diecut. I added some sequins around... and I have two Artsy - Pastel-y , could be a print on a cloth - design ready.

I would love to know, which color card do you like more?
