Hello everyone,
Do you remember the first Craft Your life kit by Altenew? I was drooling over the gorgeous Seasonal Blooms but it took me some time to get my hands on it and finally I have had the perfect inspiration at Altenew Blog with this month's Inspiration challenge, for making a card with it.
These happy colors are perfect for the seasonal blooms and though it started as a One panel of plans to make a bigger card, I thought of chopping it up!
After I colored the flowers, I looked for a place to chop it off in a way that both sides could be independent panels for two different cards. There was no way I could get equal halves without cutting the leaf off. So for the first card, I extended the back panel with a little creative cut for the background. The flowers fit one panel beautifully and I added the width on the card by cutting the background such that we adhere it back to give the right width to the card.
For stamping I chose Peach perfect ink - for not a very stark black outline and almost gives the no line coloring look.
A little variation for the die cut sentiments too - from the same Craft your life kit.
I hope you like this card and if you have time, do stop by at my You tube channel :)

ReplyDeletewhat exquisite cards Ishani - love how you 'extended' the background by cutting it - that is so clever and looks like a deliberate decorative detail, rather than a need :)
