AECP Level 3 - Playing with Textures

Hello dear friend,

I am back after a hiatus - on my AECP Level 3 journey and starting it off with my favourite - and most talented artist in the cardmaking world Erum Tasneem's Creative coloring with Erum- Advanced techniques.

So during the lessons - one of her class is on Terrific Textures and she used this stencil - Mega Bloom for her lessons. I recently got this stencil during a Sale and I was so intrigued to use one of her suggestions during the class and wanted to try my hand at it!

Also with this month's Altenew Inspiration colors - I thought this may work! I don't have embossing paste but I have Gesso and I used it first on my dark pink cardstock (Rubellite Cardstock) and added a pink fairy dust shimmer I have been hoarding since ages. This added the sparkle but not the Pinkness that I wanted. So came the Distress Spray in Picked raspberry! It not only created the small specks that looks great but also added a darker shadow around the flower.

I wish I had a Diwali Die cut word to make this a Diwali card - but for now I added Hello with a little bling and sequins around. This card makes me happy - It's Glittery and Floral and Pink and Festive :)

All the things my heart loves
💗
