Quilled Autumn card

Am glad you took out time to come here. Thankyou. Quilling is how I started my crafting journey but when I got introduced to stamps..I thought the results (making a card) is quicker with stamps. But sometimes I miss my strips of paper and then I give them some love!

With Autumn breeze hitting the Northern India.. I did an Autumn colour card with Quilled leaves.

This one in artificial light
I couldn't decide which looked better..  so put both :P
Hope you'll like it!

CASEing - Amazing Tracie

Am glad you stopped by to see my work. Am sure that even you would have felt like CASEing a card, if you liked it a lot! It happens many times to me but then I don't do it much often.

Tracie Pond's card on Instagram  made me want to try it.. And made me wait till I had some time in hand! Now that I downloaded the photograph for this post I realised that those hearts.. I missed putting on!

I used Faber Castell's Glass bead Glitter gel on the Craftangle's Mandala stencil. The pictures don't do justice at all. I took another picture for showing the glitter, hope you see the sheen!

These were the cards that made me drool to CASE.

Mine isn't even close to them.. (yes, I know!)
But then, that's why I am trying to CASE Tracie's work, to learn and get better :)

Bear card CIC - 424

Hello there,

Hope you are having a great weekend. I have been very busy lately with some studies and that my two year old is down with fever, I have had no time for crafting.
But, I am sure you know the itch, when you want to craft and wait for all to go to sleep and steal some time for it! So this card, which I started few days back, in bits and pieces is finally completed.
Using the cute little bear digital stamp from All dressed up stamps, I was able to finish it just in time :)

Hope you like it and would join us this week and get your cutie bears out for our weekly challenge!
Happy Week ahead :)

Claribella says - Customer Appreciation day

Hello dear crafters,
It was a delight to see a mail from Kathy of Little Miss muffet stamps to create a card with their new digital stamps which would be launched on customer appreciation day!
I am honoured to have  been given this opportunity and with the cutest little sheep stamp - Claribella says, I created this card.

Claribella is just so cute and so are the other stamps. If you don't want to miss the cuteness overloaded stamps, you must visit the  LMMS shop and to see the beautiful creations by various card designers please check the LMMS blog and get inspired.

Love, Ishani.

Kitty Party for Rainbow Craftykari

Hello friends,I have Kitty party card for you today, with a tutorial on how I made it with the masking technique, which I have shared on Rainbow Craftykari. Please visit here, for the detailed tutorial.

This card is a simple one, it uses masking technique to create a scene. The important principle of this technique is that which ever image you would like to be at front, create a mask for it.

Hope you liked this little kitty party scene which I created with MFT stamps (cool cat).

Happy Crafting!
Love Ishani

Cake Card - CIC 422

Hello Crafty friends,

I have been traveling this week but just before I started, I received my order from Jane's Doodles. Yay..  I was so happy.

I knew I also had to make a card for Cupcake Inspirations, so I packed just a few essentials in my baggage along with the stamps. Things that didn't occupy much space. Water based markers and a water brush, black inkpad, acrylic block, precut cardstock, few sequins and glossy accents (I'll have to put it in my wallet, I am crazy about it).

This is what I came up with, a CAS design with a little smooshed background with droplets captured as I thought it'll give a little interest than very watery smooshing.

Hope you like it and will join us this week at Cupcake Inspirations and show us what you can do with the three colours of the challenge.

Hugs, Ishani

Leaf card

Hello there,

Thankyou for visiting my blog. I had bought some stamps from Sindhu (visit her blog she's hosting a giveaway) during her destash sale and she included this beautiful leaf stamp along with the things I bought. I used this stamp from Mudra to make a card following few challenges.

Hope you like it :)

Birthday with dragonflies

Good evening ladies,

(To the gentlemen too, if they are reading this). I got a call to make a card for our commander, for his birthday. :Oh my God.. that's stressful' I thought! But because he's a simple man and might appreciate something in CAS style, I decided on my design.
I pulled out a couple of things that I had not used yet. A dragonfly stamp from a stamp set sent across by Mirella, a fantastic card maker herself. Along with the brick stencil from the Craft treat range.
Rather simple, but I did a rough draft first and in the end I had two cards because the draft looked as good as the final piece.

This post is after we went to wish him. I was surprised and honoured to see that they had kept my previous two three cards still on their fridge. Even the one that I gave them last year for Diwali. I asked them, if I could take a picture. Wow.. such an honour for my humble cards!

Hope you like it and hope he likes it too :)

Hello there,

One of my favorite and the most beautiful stamp in my stash is Uniko Lily stamp. When I saw Bev's card and the challenge to CASE it, I couldn't wait to take some time out. I used Watercolours for the background and copied everything else and sharing here!

I am very thankful for this lovely card making community and one of the sweetest card maker has her birthday today. Deepti Aggrawal whom I call Dee' . She is so talented and also very kind. The love and support she has shown me makes me feel that I have known her since ages. Please visit her blog Here and see her beautiful creations.
