CIC - Sports themed card - YNS Chickie

Image
Hello everyone, We have a new challenge up at  Cupcake Inspir ations  and we have a  Theme challenge and we are playing SPORTS! And I realised, I don't have sports themed stamps, indoor games, I do, but not Sports. I have to get my hand on some digis now! So look what I found - a skiing chickie  from Merry Christmas Chickie - by Your next stamps  and colored her with Zig markers. I used the Home and hearth dies I have been wanting to use since last November and snow drift dies by MFT for my white snowy scene. Did some blending of cracked pistachio, peacock feathers and blue print sketch DOs for my bg and a spray of acrylic paint for my snow. Hope you will play along with us at Cupcake Inspirations. I have shared this cute set and made a tri fold card for my video here I would be grateful, if you would help me grow by subscribing to my channel!

AAA - Silhouette card with Acrylic block stamping

Image
Hello every one, There is a new challenge up at   AAA cards , with One layer card  as our game and an optional twist of Coffee.  The winner will get a  £10.00 credit to the winner's choice of online store. For my One layer card, I have used the acrylic block stamping technique for the background. I used Mini Distress inks for the technique and added a little blue water color on the water. I stamped the image from Hero arts  Pier at the lake  with black ink. A little brush of purple for shadow of boat and a sentiment overlapping my focal point.   We have Stephanie  as our Guest and she has a beautiful and a hilarious CAS card for us. It made me chuckle :D Stop by at her blog to smile too :) Hope you liked my take and will join us at the  AAA cards  challenge. Also, I have a video on ways to keep your cards Clean and Simple. I would be grateful, if you would help me grow by subscribing to my channel! Joining in at A blog named Hero CASology Darnell's NBUS challenge

Fairy happy- Surprise Pop up die cut card

Image
Hello hello we are the fairies, Welcome to the fairy land, where we come from up above the clouds and land in a beautiful floral garden! Our destination is MFT Superstar 2020  - Innovation master . We came into being, at MFT's workshop where we were named  Fairy happy stamp set  and fairy fairy happy we were! But we were delighted to get a new home. We have had a lovely gardener, Ishani, who helps us tend the garden. We have our own flowers, butterflies, bees but we missed having fluffy bunnies, so we adopted one from  Sweet friends  stamp set. We didn't have grass, so Ishani converted  Snow drifts die to our rolling garden and mowed it green . She made our sky peachy with some inks and help us dress up and did our hair with her Copic markers. The flowers are blooming happy with her tender Copic care too, so are the butterflies and bunny! The rolling grass garden has been landscaped in a way that we have continuous rolling meadow of flowers. But before we land, we do a long jou

Clean and Simple - Sweet Friend on a swing - MFT

Image
Hello there,  I was so excited to play for this year's MFT Superstar , but I totally forgot until a dear friend reminded me.  I chose to play with this adorable girl from MFT Sweet friends set  for my Clean and simple card. I stamped her at an angle on Canson Montval paper with Antique Linen Distress ink and did no line coloring with Zig markers. I chose to mute my colors for this card. To create more interest I used  Window die-namics  die, to depict that our sweet girl is on a swing outside. I cut the window from light blue cardstock and also from white cardstock as my glass pane, assembled them and before adhering them, stamped my sentiment at the bottom of the window.  For me, the most difficult thing while making CAS cards is, to practiced restraint and stop without over doing things. I consciously practice restraint, even though I wanted to add sky at a time, then thought of adding a branch and later a darker window.  As I created this card, things that I kept in mind were th

Guest designing - Uniko - Stenciled Autumn Leave

Image
Hello crafty friends,                                                            I am thrilled to be a guest designer at Uniko Studio blog    and thankful for the opportunity! I have a clean and simple card for the new challenge the blog and decided not to twist, mostly because I didn't have a thank you sentiment in my Uniko Stash and I only wanted to use their gorgeous stamps. I have used for my card  Uniko's Stencil & mask - Nature's treasures- ii  and blended all the Autumn colors I could imagine, for this. I have used Distress inks and some Altenew inks in green, brown, yellow, orange and pink. I took some pencils out to give a little depth at the places I missed out during ink blending. I hope you like my take on the Autumn Inspired card with the beautiful leaves stencil.  I have an Autumn inspired card on my You tube channel. Hope you will stop by and also subscribe to my channel :) Thank you for stopping by.

CIC - Fantasy Floral card - Altenew

Image
Hello everyone, We have a new challenge up at  Cupcake Inspirations  and we have  Color challenge -  green, pink and lime. As we can always add neutrals I added white and grey to my card along with the challenge colors. I have used  Altenew's fantasy floral 3 D die set  and actually just used some scrap pieces left and saved for lasting me 100 yrs, to cut the flowers from. Even leaves is a grass background gone too splotchy as I was trying a new cardstock. Also the grey die cut is from pieces of die cuts I have been saving for so long. I am LOL, as I tell you how well I utilised my scarps :D Also, no sentiment, as I didn't know what to make it a birthday card or anniversary. So just left it without a sentiment. Hope you will play along with us at Cupcake Inspirations. Did you check my new video tutorial - where I share  ideas to use one stamp 3 ways for floral cards - full of techniques.
