CIC - 471 Birthday Mermaid

Hello everyone,
There is a new challenge up at Cupcake Inspirations and I loved making a card for it! It is the cutest stamp in our stash - mermaids! Bugaboo stamps are our kind sponsors for this challenge and I have used their Ava mermaid for my card.

Our kind sponsors are giving away $12 Gift certificate.

I coloured my little Ava with copic markers and fussy cut her and the fish and bubbles. I stenciled some waves and stamped happy birthday on my panel. I used a diagonal stripes stencil by Craftangle and sponged shaded lilac distress ink. Some Nuvo drops and tadaa..

Here's a close up

I hope you'll play along with your pretty mermaids :) For more inspiring ideas hop on to the Cupcake Inspirations blog where design sweeties have created cute projects.

Welcome to the Birthday party of AAA Cards Challenge!

So glad you came to our party, thank you! A special thanks to our wonderful sponsors  who have made this party possible.

Here's my card to wish AAA Cards a very Happy Birthday with a gorgeous stamp by our lovely sponsors Craftyscrappers. I have used their Wishing stamp set for this card that was gifted by my dearest friend Mugdha of Craftomania . This is a Clean and simple version of spotlight stamping where I heat embossed the stamp on white and grey cardstocks and used Zig markers for watercoloring my flowers for the spotlight effect.

Let's come to how you can win prizes!

1. Enter a CAS card into our birthday themed challenge using the link up at the bottom of the challenge post - 8 prizes!

Uniko style CAS floral card

Hello everyone,
This is a card I made to wish Beva very Happy Birthday. It's late but I really didn't have good internet connection to open blogger and post it. This time two years back, I won my first stamp from Uniko at To Bee or not to be blog hop hosted by Milka Gubo and since then I am thankful to my stars that I have won few Uniko Goodies. Bev is so sweet and has always been so patient with my change in addresses etc. So I thought I must make a card with my Uniko goodies and send her a card. But we shifted from West India to North India and when I packed all our stuff, I don't know where did I keep it :(

When planning this card I used the same stamps and stencil, I had made a card with earlier (this) and Bev had loved it. So I thought why not make a card for her with similar products.Using the gorgeous Uniko style flowers and my favorite stencil ever Natures treasures II for this card. I think these leaves pair up beautifully with these beautiful flowers, what do y…

Trendy spring blooms birthday card

Hello everyone,
I was inspired to play along at STAMPlorations challenges and I wanted to challenge myself with the Cutplorations artsy inspiration. I have the Trendy spring blooms die and one of the flowers has this Scandinavian style which I thought was perfect for what I had in mind. I struggled a bit. I made a background with sponging distress oxide inks to make a blocked background but then changed my mind.

Then I cut the flower from grey CS and used the blocked background for the center of my flower and adhered colorful paper for my petals. The background leaves are through Forest foliage stencil with glass bead gel. The sentiment is also Funky Fossil designs - The quick brown fox stamp set a gift by Sandie from London days.
This card was so beyond my comfort zone but I loved the brainstorming. I want to try all the different styles, I believe that's how I will learn and grow.

Hope you liked it.

Guest Designer - ATCAS - Horizon

Hello everyone,
I am delighted to share with you that I am a guest at Addicted to CAS for this fortnight's challenge.
And we are playing with the code word Horizon.
My take includes the Horizon we see from the sea. Even though it seems far, don't give up!
I have used Altenew's - Be a lighthouse stampset and some watercolours for my water. I kept the rest of the sky pale with grey and pool blue ink stamping, to keep my design CAS.

I am thankful to the ladies at the Addicted to CAS for having me. Hope you liked my card and will join in with your take on Horizon at the challenge (here).

Better together

Some more Coffee today!
I used a stamp set from Jillibean soup , for my coffee and blueberry glazed doughnut, to share with you.

I just wish I had more time to play at the current Coffee loving cardmakers .

Messy coffee drinkers' CAS card. LOL!

Hello again!
A coffee with a friend.. leaves lovely memories.. who cares for the coffee stains on the table cloth? You know I love clean and simple.. but I love mess too, especially if it's with someone I love ;)

The stencil is a TCW stencil - Coffee splotch and the sentiment is from a stamp set called Happiness is you from Your Next stamp. Same as the one I made this card with. I hope you like it.

Coffee on the table!

Hello again,
You see past two years I didn't have a coffee stamp and so I couldn't play at the Coffee lovers blog hop. This time I bought a lovely stamp by Craftyscrappers- thanks a latte, to play at the challenges.
Here's my coffee served hot on a table. I die cut my table cloth with a Spellbinders border die that is a gift from Paru Mahtani.

Wishing you a cup of happiness.

One layer floral wishes

Hello everyone,
One of the Altenew stamps that I have had my eyes on was Brush art floral. May be because it's such an artsy stamp. The recipient of the card (if not a cardmaker) would keep guessing how did I do it so beautifully.. hehehe ;)

The OLC fear has not gone away completely but I did my best to keep it aside! I used a stencil by Craftangles and the sentiment (see that lettering? is a gift from my dear friend Mugdha (Craftomania) for my birthday by Craftyscrappers. I hope you like it !
