Hello dear friends, There is a new challenge up at Time Out challenges , have you joined in for the Photo inspiration: Here's a close up The sponsor for this challenge is  Uniko! The winner of this challenge will get an in-stock clear stamp set of their choice! I was inspired by the colors and patterns of the upholstery and the texture of the carpet.  I used Uniko's stamp    Uniko style , for the flowers,  Flower Power #7  for the sentiment and  Background blocks pinstripe  for the little strip of paper beneath the sentiment. I love these Marimekko flowers and is one of my most used stamps by Uniko. I kept my design Clean and Simple and let the bold flowers and textures be the stars of this card, just like the inspiration pic. Anagha from Ana art diary  is our guest designer and am so happy to have an Indian crafter who loves quilling too to join us, as our guest! What a talented girl she is, you must check her blog and see the b

Hello everyone, A new challenge up at  AAA cards  and we are playing with one image with the twist of Inspired by TV. We have    CAS-ual Fridays   as our kind sponsors and I have used  Be a Unicorn stamp set  and  coloured with a some grey marker. Then I used Deco art glamour dust for the amazing sparkle on my embossed Unicorn. Do you know The Unicorn series? It's a sweet comedy and I love to watch either a sit com or a historical drama. So here's my take on the Unicorn - unleashing his inner sparkle ;) And we have the very talented, a dear friend and my mentor, who actually introduced me to AAA Cards in 2017,  Jasleen  - as our guest designer. Her cards are beautifully CAS and the cutest! You will love her work, if you don't know her yet, Be sure to check out her blog. Hope you will join us with your CAS creation.  And in another News, I have shared some quick super hero cards on my YT channel- hope you will stop by, thanks in advance :

Zodiac birthday cards - Video tutorial

Image
Hello everyone, I am so thrilled to share with you these Clean and simple birthday cards, inspired by the new challenge at  CASology . I have had it in my head that I want some unisex cards and Zodiac  was just the right idea and fantastic Unisex cards to have in stash.  Though I want the Mama Elephants Cosmic stars, but I don't have them. So I created my own! I have a video coming soon on how I made them. Including one with crayon resist technique. I will add the video here , as soon as I am finished editing. So the colours are the colours of the elements and the Zodiac is one from the element it belongs to. Water - Cancer  Earth- Capricorn   Air - Libra Fire - Leo and another Water element - Pisces I have drawn all the Zodiac signs with hand and used Happy birthday sentiment - from Uniko's stamp set (that is now discontinued). I will have how I did it, if you have already not got it. which you must have, in my video
