Beach party for you

thank you for stopping by. Today I have a card to join in at Inky Paw's 100th challenge, again with the same stamp set, Aloha Newton.

I used this sketch and this theme
So the Aloha Newton is my latest purchase of NND stamps and it has become a favorite of mine. I love the playfulness of the illustrations, a relaxing Newton and the other playing a guitar. Also the paw stencil is so cool. I am glad I bought it. It can be used for various projects.
I hope you like my card.

For classy teachers

Hello there,
Inky paw challenges has its 100th challenge celebration and dear friend Debbie from Indy's design also a DT there and at CIC, has always inspired me to play at IPC. So, I got my favourite stamp and most used too, for making bookmarks for my son's teachers. They are always a great thank you gifts for teachers and also in India we celebrate teachers' day, which is approaching, so it was a perfect time to make some bookmarks for the teachers. So I went through the previous challenges and played with the Classy teachers set.
I coloured them with Copic markers, fussy cut, made the background with versamark ink and tadaa..

My first bookmark is with inspired by just the previous challenge - Challenge 99

The second bookmark is inspired by Challenge 26

The third bookmark inspired by  -Thank you challenge

Sorry, the pictures are not as bright as I'd like because I depend on sunlight and we have had pre-monsoon showers lately, no good sunny days. I hope you, still l…

STAMPlorations - heat embossing on Digital stamps

Hello everyone,

I am back again with a guest designing post for Stamplorations , where we are showcasing the amazing Digital stamps. Have you tried Heat Embossing with Digital stamps? Today, for both my cards I did heat embossing, one with clear embossing powder and the other with a gold embossing powder.

For today's project I have used two different Digi stamps from two different bundles - Coffee Blossom digital stamp - set of 9 and Blossom frames digital stamps - set of 6 and used two different mediums of coloring. I looove florals and roses are a weakness, so I chose these digi stamps for my first project.
For the first card I used Coffee Blossom digital stamp and chose the coffee cup with floral spray. I printed it out on Bristol smooth paper and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder, as I wanted to color it with my Zig brush markers. I then fussy cut it, used a black marker for the edges and placed it on a black cardstock to be used as a layer on my white A2 side fold…

IQCG #59 - Quilled book

Hello dear quillers,

Couple of days left to link in your "School memories" entries for our ongoing challenge.
It was in school that our English teacher instilled in us, the habit of reading. Not just curriculum books, but she assigned us with classic novels asked us to subscribe to The Hindu newspaper and would make us write 10 new words as every Sunday's homework. She would say 'Today a reader, tomorrow a leader'. This is the memory I recreated with my edge quilling project to inspire you to join us.

I used 3mm strips in white and red for my work. I think the whole project is self explanatory.

I hope you like my work and will play along with your 'school memories'.

Just for reminding  - these are the Challenge Rules:
1. Must follow IQCG blog
2.  Maximum of 3 Projects can be linked
3.Must be a new one made after this announcement
4.International entries are welcome
5. Use hashtag - #iqcg59 and tag us at Instagram and mention that you are playing with us

AAA 143 - Christmas in June

Hello dear card makers,
Sunday is the day for a new game at AAA cards and this time we are playing with a corner with a twist of flowers.

Uniko Ltd is kind sponsor for this challenge.

I have to start Christmas cards early this year, so I planned this card with a retired Uniko stamp.  Corner placement of my image and the sentiment in merry colors.

I hope you will play along with your clean and simple cards.

Tweet friend's bird-day

Hello there,
I am glad you stopped by ! I have been coloring to my hearts content these days (shared on my Instagram page), with Kathy Rac's the daily marker challenge and on day 5, I had colored  these birdies from MFT's Tweet friends stamp set that I bought for my birthday (day I could splurge)  from Ranganjali store here in India .

I used the one with outlines for a birthday card, using the sketch and colours, both from MFT challenges.

I coloured my tweet bird with Zig markers and that curve  on the top, don't even ask me.. it was a struggle to get partial die cut a Wonky stitched oval Die-namics. I don't have any border die with such curve, I might have to buy it.
I hope you like my tweet bird-day greetings :)
