TO - A little boy's wish - Waffle flower

Image
Hello there,
Have you played at the Time out challenges yet? There are few more days for you to play along.  You can be inspired by any of the words in CS Lewis' quote. This challenge is sponsored by STAMPlorations!
The winner of this challenge will receive a $25 gift voucher! In addition the Design Team will vote for their favourite cards and the winner of this will have the opportunity to join us our Guest Designer! I went through my stash and thought this boy from Waffle Flowers Wish stamp set was perfect for the theme. I masked his eye to close them as if he were dreaming. Which young boy doesn't dream of a cute dog as a pet? My little boy does!
Our Guest Designer for this challenge is the very talented Helen. Her creativity is outstanding! Don't forget to check out her blog Moments of Crafting and you will be amazed. Hope you liked my take and will play along the challenge.
Also, I have a new video on my You tube channel where I have transformed a normal turban man into S…

Rocking Birthday with Cool cats - Your Next stamp

Image
Hello everyone,
I am sharing a quick way to get mirror stamping without the fancy mirror stamps. Please check my You tube channel for the same and if you are not a subscriber yet. I'd love if you'd subscribe.

I am using Your Next Stamp's Cool cats for the cat images and a big stamp from their Countryside cuties that works as a good platform to stamp on.

This card went to Maaike, who is celebrating her 50th birthday and I made the two kitties she has as pets. Who have planned Rockstar performance for this special day.

I hope you like it and will stop by at my channel and watch the video

Happy crafting :)

CIC - Ephemera - Perfume laden XOs

Image
Hello everyone,
Did you check the Stash challenge at Cupcake Inspirations blog?  This week we are challenge you to make a card/project featuring Ephemera. (Items of collectible memorabilia, typically written or printed ones, that were originally expected to have only short-term usefulness or popularity.)
If you are a serious Crafter then there are chances that you are a serious hoarder :D If you are like me you also would have bought those pretty stickers, die cuts, to be used on your projects! Finally it's time for me to put them to use. I had these cute little Perfume bottle that I saw at a stationary shop and had been hoarding since more than a year. I used one of the bottles and used the pretty watercolour floral elements pack by CrafTangles for the card. And I have used Scripty XOXO by Lawn Fawn.

I used SSS stitched whirl background to depict the fragrance spreading and then thought why not add splatters to depict the light spray? Recently I had seen a card by Yoosun Hur wit…

I was so excited with the Time travel and you know what a yr old boy's mom would think... other than Santa Claus.. Dinosaurs! So I picked up Jane's Doodles - DINOmite stamp set and made this scene, where this T- rex (with scales - that's a new species, as per my son) has got flowers for his dear cute friend -Brontosaurus. And The RAWR, could mean anything ... I love you or happy birthday, that I will put when it is time to use this card.

I Copic colored the cuties and the flowers (from a Hello blue bird set), Fussy cut and used  Cra…
