Hello there, Have you played yet with the items in your wardrobe challenge at  Time out challenges ?  Our sponsor for this challenge is  Poppy Stamps !   Everyone who plays and uses our optional twist of embossing/texture will be entered into a random drawing to win our prize. The random winner of this challenge will receive a $20 gift voucher to Poppy Stamps! My wardrobe is quite a floral one and full of inspiration. But what caught my fancy was a Tote bag with a black background and I had just the right sketchy flower stamp to go with it by Simon says stamp - Choose joy . I stamped and masked for this floral cluster on Neenah Solar white paper and used Copic markers to color them. Then I use Black copic marker and covered all the white, fussy cut my bunch and die cut it along with a black cardstock with Wonky hearts die . For the leather loo, I used  CrafTangles Caramel brown cardstock,  Die cut it and run it through an embossing folder to include the Op

Hello there, I have my last card to share with you as a Guest designer for  Your Next Stamp  for this month. I hope you liked my cards because am going to come back as a guest soon. I am really grateful for this opportunity and thank the YNS team for this honour. If you are new here, don't forget to check out my previous post  here  and here  and a video that I did for the Pizza love card  here on my You tube channel .  I don't like to be partial, but I adore all the chick stamps YNS has. Also because this card had got me Top pick at  Your next stamp blog , so I had to use the winter version for my guest designing too :) I have made a tri-fold with Mountain slopes as my two outer panels. I have a video tutorial   on my You tube channel with the whole process of making this card. I am using  Merry Christmas chickie  stamp set and stamped 4 chicks for my card and the cute cap, flying off for one of them. I colored my Chicks with Copic markers and ke

Winter village -Jane's doodles

Hello everyone, Finally God heard me and gave me 26 hrs in a day! I know you won't believe me :D I finally got time to color my recent stamps from Jane's doodles - Winter village (also on sale right now!) . I am in love with slimline cards and the houses in the stamp were so tempting, I didn't want to use just one! My sky is of Distress oxides, the snow flakes are of Nuvo drops. The slopes are die cuts left from another project that goes live tomorrow. Copic colored houses in pretty colors, Glossy accents for windows and here's my winter village. I hope you like it :) My son wants to live in the purple house :D  Where would you want to? Guest Designer for YNS - Happy Fairy tale

Hello again, I am back with another card as a Guest designer for  Your Next Stamp  . I am really thankful to Karen and Julie for this inviting me over. If you are new here, don't forget to check out my previous post here and a video that I did for the Pizza love card here on my You tube channel .  When I saw this stamp set called Fairytale friends  I just fell in love with the cute critters.   I have a slim line card showcasing the  Fairytale friends  and cute birds from Birdie banner  . Also I have used their Happy die  for the sentiment. I loved all these critters so much, I just couldn't exclude any for my card. So I used all of them and birds from the  Birdie banner . My card base measures 3 ½ by 8 ½ and the top panel is 3 by 8. I stamped my critters with Ranger's Archival jet black ink and used Zig markers to color my critters and fussy cut them. For the background, I blended Twisted Citron and Salty ocean distress oxides. I sprinkled Unicorn dust on m

AAA - Daddy's the best - Neat & Tangled

Image
Hello there,  Thank you for stopping by! There is a new challenge at AAA cards and we are playing with One layer card and an optional twist of Polar animals.  I had this cute bear pair from Neat and tangled's Mommy Daddy and me stamp set  that I made into Polar bears with Aurora Borealis in their background (incase you are wondering what is the blue green purple ). I did some masking with the new stencils by CrafTangles - Stencils masks - circles  and colored my bears with Copics. I used Distress Oxides for my Aurora skies. I had another reason to use this set. We call our grandfather- Daddy and we were going to meet him soon during our little vacation to the Himalayan state - Himachal. I thought he'd like it. He is 93 years old and he was so passionate about teaching his grandchildren as he was an Education officer in the Indian Army and has been instrumental in my love for Geography (one more reason for Aurora Borealis). So this card was for him.
